People say that articles are the assets of your blog but have you ever wondered what will happen if you end up creating a mess of the information you want to convey through your article? Your readers are not concerned about the motive of your blog, whether you are creating the blog to generate revenue or anything else, what matters to them is the piece of information they get by reading your blog posts. If you write good enough they will be happy to get associated with you and if not, they wouldn't even bother to turn back to visit your blog again. It’s not about how much you write, it’s all about how well you write.
Unique content does not mean that you put someone else’s work in your words; more precisely it means unique information. Consider yourself to be a reader and think, would you like to read the same piece of information again and again at different places in different accents?
Without even giving a second thought, the answer would be ‘no’. So why to waste your and your reader’s time iterating the same thing again and again?
But it’s not unlawful to refer other’s articles on the topic you want to write on. By referring, you can get to know what stuffs are already there and match them with what you want to write. Slash off the things which are already there and then proceed.
Here are a few things you can implement while writing articles:
Length Matters, Always: It’s not like lengthier the better, average word count can be somewhere around 400-500. Lengthy articles are not accepted by many readers. And try to maintain the average length for all the articles.
Don’t pool out all the information: Don’t try to put all your thoughts at a single place; rather you can break it up into many articles. If you try making up a single information rich article you may end up creating a mess of all your ideas.
Break-up: Fragment your articles into paragraphs and the things which you want to emphasise upon make it in bolds, you can also put them point wise.
Accent: The accent of your articles should be more interactive and write it like you are talking to them in reality.
Format: You should not ignore the formatting part, make the alignment of articles on Align text left, as it makes it more cosy for reader’s eye.
